We’re looking for Tutors who are passionate about inclusive learning, educational psychology, and supporting neurodivergent students.
We are currently seeking someone to support a primary‑school aged student in Math and we are also building a standby tutor list for upcoming referrals and enquiries as recent students join our service.
This role is ideal for someone who is:
- Currently studying psychology
- Interested in educational psychology
- Motivated to support neurodivergent learners
A foundational understanding of neurodiversity is required, however you will receive on‑the‑job training to develop the specific support strategies used within My Own Mind. This includes structured mentoring after each session and practical tools to help you confidently support neurodivergent learners.
About the Role
Our standby tutor list includes tutoring across Reception to Year 12 in subjects such as:
- Maths
- English
- Science
- HASS
- Other subjects depending on your strengths
Alongside academic content, you’ll also support students in building:
- Executive functioning skills
- Organisation and planning systems
- Study routines and exam preparation strategies
- Academic confidence
- Self advocacy
