- Remuneration: $95,981 to $108,257 pa (HEW5) (inclusive of an annual salary range of $81,105 to $91,478 pa, 17% superannuation, and leave loading).

- Open to: The position is open to current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Executive Assistant to join Human Resources, People Services, Administrative Division.

The Executive Assistant provides support to the Executive Director, HR and Deputy Chief People Officer including high level administration assistance, planning and office management. The Executive Assistant displays outstanding organisational skills in supporting the Executive Director, HR and Deputy Chief People Officer with a wide range of administrative activities, including diary management, correspondence support, event and travel arrangements. Confidentiality, discretion and sound judgement are critical attributes for this role. The position works collaboratively with key stakeholders and other staff to deliver exceptional service and support.

What you need to succeed

- Education,trainingor relevant experience equivalent to completion of an associate diplomawith at least two (2) years’ subsequent relevant experienceor an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
- Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to provide confidential executive support with proven ability to collaborate and communicate with awide range of internal and external stakeholdersin a professional manner.
- Demonstrated digital literacy skills includingability to effectively work with Microsoft suite of products as well as corporatesystems and other information sourcesto extract and interpret data.
- Demonstrated high levelwritten communication skillsincluding the ability todraft meeting agendas and minutes,correspondence,submissionsand emails with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High level ability to manage time and tasks effectivelyincluding prioritising work, meetingdeadlinesand balancing competing demands as well as the ability to embrace change and respond to unexpected challenges at short notice.
