We're expanding our Fabrication Team at our Hemmantworkshop to support a robust pipeline of industrial fabrication workacross SEQ.
This role starts on a casual basis with consistent full-timehours and offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent position for theright person. No labour hire, no shutdown-to-shutdown work and no FIFO or DIDO.
What the Role Involves
This is a hands-on workshop-based pipe welding andfabrication role, with opportunities to work across a variety of fabricationprojects - producing high-quality pipework and structural components forindustrial projects across the mining, manufacturing and processing industries.You'll be part of a structured, trade-led team where safety, quality andworkmanship matter.
You'll be involved in:
- TIGand GMAW/FCAW Stick welding of carbon steel andstainless-steel pipe
- Fabricating andwelding pipe spools, pressure pipe and process piping to requiredstandards
- Somefabricating and welding of structural members and plate work
- Readingand interpreting isometric drawings, fabrication drawings and engineeringspecifications
- Workingalongside pipefitters, boilermakers and workshop supervisors to deliverquality fabrication outcomes
- Maintaininghigh welding standards and attention to detail
- Contributingto a safe, organised and productive workshop environment
- CertificateIII in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- Provenexperience welding industrial pipework
- Abilityto read and interpret isometric drawings and engineering specifications
- Experiencefabricating pressure pipe and process piping highly regarded
- Reliable,safety-focused and team-oriented
- Pridein producing high-quality welds and workmanship
