Myotherapist | Remedial Massage Therapist – Allied Health Clinic

Sequence Osteopathy is seeking an experienced Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist to provide exceptional patient care from our multidisciplinary clinic in Torquay. Working alongside our Osteopaths, you will deliver personalised, outcome-focused treatment and contribute to a coordinated approach to patient care. This opportunity would suit a therapist who takes pride in their clinical standards and values building trusted, long-term patient relationships.

Available Consulting Sessions

We are seeking a practitioner who can provide consistent appointment availability during:

- Thursday: 3:00 pm–7:00 pm

- Friday: 2:30 pm–7:00 pm

- Saturday: 8:00 am–2:00 pm

Contractor Arrangement

The successful practitioner will be engaged as an independent contractor under a formal contractor agreement and will operate from Sequence Osteopathy.

A negotiable contractor rate of $65–$75 per patient appointment will be offered, based on the successful applicant’s qualifications, clinical skills and experience.

Key responsibilities

- Provide professional myotherapy or remedial massage treatments tailored to individual patient needs.

- Conduct thorough consultations, assessments and treatment planning.

- Deliver protected, effective and outcome-focused care.

- Apply strong knowledge of anatomy, injuries,



pain presentations and rehabilitation principles.

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.

- Collaborate with in-house practitioners to support coordinated, holistic care.

- Provide appropriate aftercare advice, education and self-management strategies.

- Maintain excellent treatment-room hygiene and presentation.

- Communicate professionally with patients, reception staff and the wider clinical team.

About you

- A recognised qualification in Myotherapy or Remedial Massage Therapy.

- Experience and confidence in assessing patients and delivering personalised, hands-on treatment.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to create a positive patient experience.

- A professional, reliable and collaborative approach.

- A commitment to professional boundaries, scope of practice and ongoing development.

- An active Australian Business Number.

- Current professional association membership, where applicable.

- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain private health fund provider recognition, where applicable.
