Logistic Officer

About the Job

Applying your knowledge and capability to enhance the performance of the mill in key areas such as:

· Harvest management systems

· Field operations – sugar cane

· GIS mapping

· Locomotive Operations

Work with key stakeholders in the cane supply chain to deliver a consistent cane supply of high quality to the mill

You will be an integral part of the Cane Supply & Transport team.

You will provide constructive feedback to harvester operators and growers queries on matters relating to cane quality, rosters, daily quota allocation, delivery and pick up schedules, losses and gains and other related matters as outlined in the Cane Supply Agreement

About You

- You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Logistics or equivalent practical experience.

- You have relevant practical experience in sugar cane harvesting and transport operations

- You can demonstrate that you have worked safely and looked after the safety of others.





- Safety is at the core of everything you do

- You have demonstrated leadership and capabilities

- You will have SAP experience or a willingness to learn

- You are a competent user of the Microsoft office suite

- You can weigh up multiple conflicting pieces of information to develop a plan to achieve our goals.

- You are a team player and operate in accordance with Tully Sugar’s Values and Behaviours

- You are analytical and never stop looking for ways to improve performance of Tully Sugar.

- You are curious and like to learn current things.
