About the Role

Reporting to the CFO and working closely with our Pacific project teams, you will take ownership of the financial reporting and commercial performance of projects across the Pacific Region.

You will provide accurate, timely and meaningful information that enables our project leaders to understand where their projects are performing well,



where risks are emerging and where action is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing project budgets, forecasts and financial reports
- Monitoring project costs, commitments, revenue, cash flow and performance against budget
- Managing work in progress, accruals, project margins and cost to complete reporting
- Supporting progress claims, variations and revenue recognition
- Partnering with project managers to identify financial risks and commercial opportunities
- Completing project reconciliations and supporting month end reporting
- Strengthening financial controls, reporting processes and project governance

About You

You are a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working closely with project teams and turning financial information into practical insights.

You will bring:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
- CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards completing one
- Experience in project accounting, management accounting or commercial finance within construction, engineering or infrastructure
- A solid understanding of project costs, forecasting, work in progress and margin analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems
- A confident, adaptable and hands on approach
- The ability to challenge information constructively and manage competing priorities

Experience with COINS, Power BI or international projects would be highly regarded.
