We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to drive sustainable outcomes and continuous delivery across digital products and software design initiatives within our high-performing Federal Government environment.
This Scrum Master will use Agile principles, foster an inclusive culture of collaboration, and empower multidisciplinary delivery teams to achieve key Program Increment objectives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a servant leader to coach delivery teams in Kanban, Scrum, and Secure practices, building trust and driving continuous improvement across the Agile Release Train.
- Lead core Agile ceremonies, including Refinements, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives, while supporting PI Planning and cross-team alignment.
- Monitor key metrics (velocity, cycle times, WIP limits) and address delivery bottlenecks to ensure work is feasible, constraints are managed, and pace remains sustainable.
- Partner with Designers, Product Managers,
and Product Owners to align team outputs with broader organisational needs and protect sprint objectives.
- Keep team backlogs and program-level progress reporting accurate, current, and aligned with overall delivery goals.
Skills & Experience Required
- Technical Toolkit: Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma, SAFe Framework, Scrum, Kanban, and exposure to ITIL-aligned service management practices.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex digital product design and software delivery.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving change and building collaborative team environments.
- Relevant Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or SAFe certifications.
Eligibility & Clearance Requirements
Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance.
