What You’ll Actually Be Doing

This isn't a job where every day looks the same.

You’ll be inspecting, testing, maintaining and repairing fire doors and passive fire systems across a variety of sites throughout Wagga Wagga and the surrounding region.

Think:

- Fire door inspections and testing
- Fire door repairs and adjustments
- Identifying defects and compliance issues
- Passive fire inspections
- Penetration and fire-stopping inspections
- Completing service reports and documentation
- Quoting and identifying rectification works
- Working directly with customers and facility managers
- Making sure the job is done properly – not just ticked off

You’ll have independence, variety and responsibility for your work.

Who Are We Looking For?

Experience in passive fire or fire doors?

We definitely want to talk.

But we’re also interested in hearing from carpenters, builders and mechanically minded tradespeople who reckon they'd be good at it.

The technical side can be taught.

The harder things to teach are:

Showing up. Giving a damn.



Talking to customers like a normal human. Taking pride in your work. And doing what you said you'd do.
