JCU Early Learning Centres is situated at James Cook Universtiy and is a non for profit centre. JCU offers the children on campus excursion, free flow play based programs and a natural surrounding with bush and wildlife. The operational hours of the service is from 7.30am-6pm, and the centres close over the Christmas break for 2 weeks.
Qualifications & experience
The successful applicant can be an experienced Early Childhood Educator, current to the industry or studying towards a certificate III or Diploma.
Tasks & responsibilities
We are looking for an assistant to support our Lead Educators in the daily running of a long day care setting.
JCU Early Learning Centres pays above the childcare award and will over staff during their busy parts of the day. JCU Early Learning Centres has a natural environment with generous garden play spaces.
