MMD Australia is expanding our Narangba workshop team and we’re looking for a skilled Fitter/Machinist who takes pride in precision work and enjoys hands-on mechanical problem-solving. If you want a stable role with a respected global engineering company, this is a great prospect.

About the Role

You’ll be working on the manufacture, repair and maintenance of MMD’s world-leading mineral sizing equipment. The work is varied, technical and suited to someone who enjoys producing and servicing high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Machining, fitting and assembly of mechanical components
- Operating manual and CNC machines to produce accurate parts
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
- Fault-finding, repairs and refurbishment work
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized workshop environment

About You





You’re a trade-qualified mechanical professional with strong machining skills and a commitment to quality with at least 3 years post trade experience.

- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner or Fitter/Machinist)
- Solid experience in machining and mechanical fitting
- CNC and manual machine experience
- Ability to work from drawings with strong attentionto detail
- A reliable, safety-focused and self-motivated approach
- Experience with heavy industrial, mining or manufacturing equipment (advantageous)
