Sales Consultant – PART-TIME Base Salary + Commission

About the role

We are looking for a Part-time Sales Assistant to join our Melbourne showroom team.

In this customer-facing role, you will guide clients through one of the most exciting and meaningful purchases of their lives – from engagement rings to fine jewellery. You will be part of a tight-knit team, delivering personalised, high-quality service and ensuring every client’s experience is exceptional from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-person client consultations in the showroom, offering tailored product recommendations
- Assist clients in selecting engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewellery
- Educate customers on lab-grown diamonds and ring styles (full training provided)
- Handle sales transactions and process orders with accuracy and care




- Oversee the receipt and processing of diamond inventory with meticulous attention to detail
- Maintain showroom presentation and assist with inventory checks and restocking
- Build strong relationships with both current and returning customers
- Assist the Operations team with a range of administrative duties, including updating order information, managing email correspondence, maintaining filing systems, managing records, and other support tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations

About You:

- Passionate about customer service and sales
- Professional, warm, and confident in a client-facing environment
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Reliable, proactive, and well-presented
- Sales or retail experience (minimum 1 year) preferred – jewellery or luxury retail experience is a plus
- Eager to learn about diamonds and jewellery – we provide full training!
- Available to work Saturdays
