Our Inspirations Paint Tweed Heads (company) Store is looking for an enthusiastic Paint Sales Assistant for a full time position. As part of the DuluxGroup, a leading marketer and manufacturer of premium branded products, Inspirations Paint employees are part of Australia's largest network of paint stores, serving both retail (DIY) and trade (skilled/commercial) markets.

The successful applicant would have a background in retail sales, paint knowledge or relevant personal experience in home improvement projects and be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.

Store hours are 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 7:00amto 12:00pm Saturday.

Responsibilities include:

Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers

Tinting & mixing paint

Following the "Inspirations Way"

Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising

Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping

Workplace Health & Safety

Experience / Attributes

Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus

Well presented both in appearance and communication

Able to contribute and work in a team environment

Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products

Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints

Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems

Honest, reliable and punctual

This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs
