What’s the role?

Based in Brisbane / Mian jin, Turrbal and Jagera Country, you'll help shape the future of broker relationships within our Small Business Banking team.

As a Business Development Manager, Small Business, you'll combine hands on management of broker introduced lending opportunities with the relationship building and networking focus of a broker facing BDM. You'll work across Business and Home Lending, support more complex lending conversations and play an important role in helping brokers and customers achieve their goals.

You’ll gain exposure to broker network development, ownership of broker files and specialised training designed to build your capability and confidence. Every day will bring opportunities to strengthen relationships, learn new skills and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What Do I Need?

- Proven experience in Business Banking, ideally with exposure to broker-originated or small business lending.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with a genuine enjoyment of meeting recent people and growing a network.
- Demonstrated success in generating new and existing brokernetworks
- Ability to influence and guide conversations with key stakeholders, including brokers, customers and internal partners.
- Sound understanding of structuring lending solutions, with the ability (or appetite to learn) to work on more complex financial products and services.
- Strong business acumen,



solid organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently
- A track record of delivering results that exceed customer expectations, with strong attention to risk, compliance and credit quality.
