We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Business Process Analyst - Transformation, you'll support ART Life Transformation Delivery by analysing, designing, and implementing process-led solutions that improve member outcomes, operational performance, and compliance outcomes.
You’ll work across strategic initiatives, regulatory change, product uplifts, and operational improvement opportunities, taking ownership of discrete transformation initiatives from discovery through to implementation. Using your analytical thinking and process expertise, you’ll identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and develop practical solutions that are aligned to business objectives and operational realities.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, providing evidence-based recommendations and contributing to decisions that shape future ways of working. Whether solutions involve process redesign, automation, system enhancements, or AI-enabled capabilities, you’ll ensure outcomes are sustainable, efficient, and focused on delivering value.
This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
Day to day, you’ll:
- Lead process analysis and solution design across strategic transformation, regulatory change, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Analyse current-state processes, data, risks, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design future-state processes and operating models that enhance efficiency, member experience, and compliance outcomes.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned initiatives, coordinating analysis, design, implementation, and transition activities.
- Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and issues to support successful delivery outcomes.
- Partner with Change Managers and business stakeholders to support change readiness, adoption, and successful transition to BAU.
- Develop and present evidence-based recommendations to senior leaders and project sponsors.
- Assess operational, risk, and compliance implications of proposed process and system changes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support capability uplift across the team.
- Explore opportunities to leverage automation, workflow technologies, and AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.
Qualifications
It goes without saying you’ll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We’ll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It’s quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- Your expertise includes business process analysis and design, including BPMN 2.0 methodologies.
- You’ll have experience working across process, delivery, and change disciplines to achieve successful outcomes.
- You’re comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
- You have strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills, including experience presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
- Your ability to assess operational risk, controls, and compliance impacts enables informed decision‑making.
- You’ll bring experience leveraging automation, workflow tools, or AI-enabled capabilities to improve processes.
- You’re experienced within financial services, life insurance, or another highly regulated industry.
- You have exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
