We are seeking casual limited tenure F&B; and Event Experts for our onsite venues listed below.

This role provides a great opportunity to start your hospitality career and learn the hotel food and beverage operation.

Departments

Oasis Pool Bar & Pearls Bar: Providing friendly, courteous and efficient food and beverage service, helping to create a smooth and enjoyable experience. You will be required to work and connect with guests, as well as show-casing your prompt and impeccable service.

As a Bartender, showcase your skills, passion for customer service and innovative flair for creating cocktails and beverages that delight the taste buds of our guests in this exciting role.

Terraces Restaurant: The most renowned ocean to plate seafood experience. At Terraces, guests indulge in a delicious selection of fresh seafood, gourmet salads, delightful desserts, and much more, while overlooking the lagoons.

As a Barista, showcase your skills, passion for customer service and coffee crafting by preparing and serving coffee beverages with consistency and quality. Utilize your latte art skills to enchant our guests.

Banquets: Assist with coordinating events onsite at the Sheraton. You will be responsible for setting up function rooms, serving guests, and providing impeccable service.

The Resort

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and sparkling blue lagoons, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast comprises of approximately 300 guest rooms, multiple award winning restaurants and bars, and various meeting and events spaces, all in an absolute beachfront environment.

Successful Candidates - Food and Beverage:

To be successful for this role you will:

- An energetic and passionate approach to providing efficient and friendly service

- Ability to remain calm and qualified in a busy fast-paced environment

- Enjoy working in a team setting

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holiday periods

- Previous F&B; experience is advantageous, but not essential

- Currently hold, or willing to obtain a QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

- Bartenders will be required to have prior food and beverage experience, including Barista skills, and Cocktail making is essential.
