Storeperson / Forklift Operator

About the role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, receiving and issuing stock, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. This role will involve working across warehouse, chilled and freezer environments as required.

Working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm (plus reasonable additional overtime paid at the applicable overtime rates), you will play an important role in supporting warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient movement, storage and control of stock and materials throughout the site.

Key responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, store and relocate stock and materials

- Receive, inspect and put away incoming goods

- Pick, pack and prepare materials and stock for production and dispatch

- Assist with stock control, inventory management and stocktakes

- Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation

- Perform general storeperson and warehouse duties as required

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

- Work safely within chilled and freezer environments for short periods





- Follow all workplace health and safety, food safety and quality procedures

- Build positive working relationships with warehouse, production and other teams

About you

- Current High Risk Work Licence (LF Forklift)

- Previous experience operating forklifts within a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment

- Previous storeperson or warehouse experience

- Ability to work in a freezer environment for short periods of time

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks of up to 15kg

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

- Current Australian working rights
