St John of God Midland Public Hospital features 367 beds, offering state-of-the-art facilities that support expanded, high-quality healthcare services where Public patients can access a comprehensive range of hospital services and receive exceptional care, all free of charge.

As a suitably qualified Registered Nurse (RN), you will join our 30-bed Acute Medical Ward 3C, featuring six cardiac-monitored rooms and portable telemetry available throughout the remainder of the ward. This is an excellent prospect to contribute your expertise within a fast-paced, collaborative environment while providing high-quality care to our patients. As a valued member of our friendly and approachable team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required to patients in Transit Lounge
- Promote and contribute to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital
- Provide patient education and act as a resource where appropriate
- Support and supervise staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff
- Contribute to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives
- Provides direct total patient care to patients to achieve identified outcomes in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures and Care Paths

The successful applicant will hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and demonstrate robust clinical skills relevant to an Acute Medical Care environment. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, a proven ability to identify and resolve issues effectively, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality,



patient-centred care. You will be dedicated to achieving positive patient outcomes and ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction, while demonstrating cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities.

We can offer you Salary: $82,945 to $106,629.87 (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation. Permanent part-time position, working up to 70 hours per fortnight.
