Senior Information Sharing Specialist:

- Initial 6 months contract with chances of extension
- Based in Perth CBD
- Knowledge of legal and court processes

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Privacy & Information Sharing Specialist to support the obligations under the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) Act 2024 and strengthen organisational privacy governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead privacy governance, information sharing and regulatory compliance in a complex public sector workplace.
- Coordinate and support the obligations under the PRIS Act 2024, ensuring legislative and organisational privacy requirements are met.
- Manage privacy and responsible information sharing enquiries received through the PRIS mailbox, providing timely and practical advice to staff.
- Develop and deliver privacy training, presentations, guidance materials and communication initiatives to strengthen organisational awareness and compliance.




- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the personal information breach response process.
- Coordinate responses to PRIS-related enquiries, investigations and requests from relevant oversight bodies, including the Office of the Information Commissioner and the Office of the Chief Data Officer.
- Support the development and implementation of the Privacy Management Plan.
- Contribute to privacy governance, risk management and initiatives designed to improve the overall privacy maturity.
- Demonstrated experience in legislative interpretation, regulatory compliance, privacy, governance and/or legal matters.
