CutlerMerz is a specialist management, engineering and economic consultant to the power and energy sector. Our team is made up of engineers, economists, finance specialist, project managers and policy advisers who are passionate about solving problems.

You have a unique opportunity to join CutlerMerz as a graduate, based in our growing Melbourne office, where you will gain exposure to the sector’s most complex and interesting issues.

Our graduate program will commence in February 2027.

About the CutlerMerz grad program

· Experience at least two and up to four rotations across a number of our Service Lines over 2 years.

· Develop both your technical skills and learn the consulting process

· Work on real client projects from Day 1.

· Report to Service Line Leaders who are true experts in their fields

· Be mentored by one of our team for the full 2 year program.

· Contribute to research and thought leadership on emerging topics in the sector.

· Attend structured training sessions to support your development.

What we are looking for

· Exceptional academic achievement in a relevant degree (Engineering, Economics, Maths, Government and Policy)

· Demonstrated aptitude for using structured problem solving and analysis.

· Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

· A professional and personable approach – a team player.





· Client service orientation

· Strong verbal, written and presentation skills (qualitative and quantitative data)

· A deadline orientation

· Demonstrated interest in the Energy sector and emerging trends related to the Energy Transition
