This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Business Process team as an Accounting & Reporting (A&R;) Accountant, ANZ. This role reports to the A&R; Manager, APeC, based in Wacol, Brisbane.

What you will be doing

Key responsibilities

- Perform daily accounting tasks and manage month-end activities
- Ownership of the daily accounting activities and ensuring data integrity to enable accurate reporting
- Process, analyse and reconcile financial information
- Complete investigation, commentary and explanations on income and expense variations




- Assist in completion of monthly and end-of-year financial accounting reporting requirements, meeting strict deadlines
- Assist with budgeting processes
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Actively involved in Risk Controls Management
- Closely cooperate with the business departments of multiple companies within the region, providing financial professional support
- Liaise with external tax consultants on monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings

About you

- Degree in accounting or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
- SAP experience is an added advantage
- Good in Excel and preferably with an interest in Power BI, AI-related tools
