Sydney City Toyota currently has an exciting permanent position available within the Administration Department of our Waterloo Dealership. This role is crucial in ensuring the continued growth and success of one of the most reputable dealerships in Australia.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and will assist with a range of duties that include:

- Manage and coordinate the end to end accounts payable function including adoption of Docuware invoice approval system

- Receipting purchase orders to invoices after checks of appropriate management authorisation

- Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger

- Prepare month-end journals including accruals and prepayments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records in the accounting system

- Provide timely support to internal stakeholders and suppliers

- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and statutory requirements

- Work collaboratively across the business to support operational outcomes

- Timely payment of creditors (weekly, fortnightly and monthly)





- EOM/EOFY duties including maintenance of accounts payable ageing trial balance.

- Monthly GL Reconciliation works

- Serve as backup coverage to the Accounts & Administration Clerk role.

To be considered for this prospect the successful candidate will demonstrate the following core skills and proven experiences:

- 3 years local experience in high volume Accounts Payable.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (minimum intermediate level) and other MS Office suites.

- Strong attention to detail

- Deadline orientated with the ability to manage competing priorities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal/teamwork skills
- A 'can do' positive attitude towards management and work colleagues, embracing company team culture.
