Your next career opportunity
You will provide reception and administrative support in a busy multidisciplinary university health clinic.
You will help students and staff access timely, safe care while growing your medical administration skills.
What you will deliver:
- Provide welcoming, efficient front-of-house reception, managing patient enquiries, check-in and appointment scheduling.
- Administer patient appointments, billing and clinical records using Best Practice, AutoMed and related Health Service systems.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient information in line with privacy, health records and clinical governance requirements.
- Support quality, safety and accreditation activities, including infection control, OHS, and keeping clinic spaces organised.
- Collaborate with clinicians and colleagues to resolve issues, improve processes and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Bring experience in medical administration or healthcare reception within a busy clinical environment.
- Use clinical practice management systems, including Best Practice, and learn new digital tools quickly.
- Manage competing priorities with strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail in record-keeping.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with diverse patients and stakeholders,
maintaining confidentiality.
- Uphold infection control, OHS and cleanliness standards to support a protected clinical environment.
- Apply sound judgement and problem-solving in fast-paced situations, escalating issues appropriately when required.
