Role Title: Administrative Assistant (HR) (Grade 3/4) (REQ687050)

- Employment type: Full-time, fixed term up to 18 December 2026
- 35 hour working week
- Hybrid working environment, including up to two days of remote work per week
- Located on lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation (Sydney CBD)

About us The Health Qualified Councils Authority (HPCA) is an executive agency of the NSW Ministry of Health. The Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) supports the regulation of health practitioners in NSW through its work with professional councils. Our work contributes to fostering a healthcare system that is safe, accountable and culturally respectful. The role is based at the HPCA Pitt Street office, located only a short walking distance from Central Station and Belmore Park.

What you’ll be doing

Working in the People & Culture team, the Administrative Assistant (HR) is responsible for processing recruitment submissions, preparing advertisements for vacancies across various hiring platforms and drafting recruitment documentation, offer letters and HR correspondence for the HPCA. The successful candidate will advise on recruitment processes and ensure that recruitment runs smoothly with necessary documentation and approvals. The successful candidate will also provide general HR administrative support to all areas of the People and Culture team, including supporting with HR lifecycle activities and related projects as required.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:





- Graduate qualification in Human Resources or relevant discipline / Relevant experience in human resources including employment and recruitment policies, procedures and legislation
- Understanding of employment matters and ability to interpret awards and conditions for a range of employees and the ability to interpret and apply Public Sector legislation and policy guidelines
