Company Description Emergency Medical and Rescue Training (EMRT) is a premium provider of specialized medical training, delivering fully accredited Resuscitation Australia Advanced Life Support (ALS) courses. The organization’s curriculum emphasizes early recognition of the deteriorating patient, comprehensive resuscitation techniques, advanced airway management, and cardiac arrest protocols. EMRT also focuses on critical emergency response management, ensuring participants are prepared for high-stakes clinical scenarios.

In addition to ALS training, EMRT offers a broad range of safety and rescue courses that primarily support the renewables industry. This combination of clinical and safety training creates a dynamic environment for medical educators and course leads.

Role Description The Advanced Life Support Course Medical Lead is a casual role with courses scheduled for the south coast and regional NSW. This role is responsible for delivering, and evaluating ALS training sessions in line with EMRT and Resuscitation Australia accreditation standards.Tasks include facilitating lectures and practical simulations, overseeing clinical skill assessments, and ensuring that training content reflects current evidence-based guidelines.

The Medical

Lead collaborates with training staff and administrative personnel to manage participant support, and maintain high-quality training outcomes. The role also involves providing clinical oversight during simulations, mentoring instructors,



and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across EMRT’s medical education programs.

Qualifications

- Certification in Advanced Life Support Level 2 and a qualified Instructor with Resuscitation Australia. Those with ARC Instructor qualifications can transfer to the Resuscitation Australia standard fairly easily.
- Solid analytical skills to evaluate course outcomes, learner performance, and clinical scenarios.
- Experience providing technical support related to simulation equipment, training tools, and clinical devices used in ALS courses.
- Customer support skills, including the ability to respond professionally to participant queries, feedback, and concerns.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering lectures, guiding simulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Troubleshooting skills to address issues in course delivery, simulation setups, and clinical teaching environments.
- Current registration as a medical practitioner, nurse, or paramedic with demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care.
- Experience in medical education, including curriculum development, assessment design, and facilitation of practical skills training.
- Flexibility to instruct on courses at locations in regional and south coast NSW.
- Commitment to inclusive, evidence-based teaching and adherence to relevant clinical and educational standards.
