About the Position

Reporting to the Quality, Safety & Risk Systems Manager, we have a part-time role working 3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday) in our Glenorchy office.

The role is classified at Social & Community Services Level 3 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award (SCHADS) with the benefit of salary packaging options.

The position plays a key role in supporting positive outcomes in feedback and complaints, compliance and audit, safety and risk, and continuous improvement across our organisation.

The successful candidate will be required to complete the following duties:

- Monitor, triage, action and close incoming feedback, hazard and incident reports via our Incident Management System (Folio)

- Undertake preliminary investigations into feedback and incident reports and liaise closely with managers to investigate, action and close complaints and incidents in a timely manner

- Coordinate internal audit tasks as required to monitor internal safety and compliance standards





- Schedule and coordinate safety and compliance training as required

- Assist in the coordination of quality improvement initiatives to maintain positive consumer, client and participant outcomes

- Maintain accurate data entry of all quality, safety and risk information

- Assist with the preparation of reporting as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is extremely organised and can effectively manage large volumes of information.

In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

- An exceptional level of attention to detail

- Advanced written and verbal communication skills

- A practical thinker with the ability to use initiative

- Able to effectively prioritise tasks and act with a sense of urgency

- High levels of computer literacy

- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards is an advantage, but not essential

- Previous experience in the aged care sector or another setting that faces complex legislative changes is an advantage

- Must be an Australian Resident or hold an Australian Working Visa

All CTST employees must:

- hold a current driver’s licence

- have a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (or be willing to obtain)

- have a current National Police Check (or be willing to obtain)
