They are seeking a Full-Time Auslan Teacher commencing in 2027.

You will join a forward-thinking and collaborative Languages Department. The team are well respected by parents and the community, and are fantastic sounding boards for the students.

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will have experience and qualifications in the following areas:

Plan and deliver inclusive Auslan lessons across Years 7-12 aligned to the Victorian Curriculum;





Foster cultural understanding and inclusive communication practices across the school community;

Collaborate with faculty colleagues and the Domain Leader Languages on curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Australian interstate equivalent;

First Aid Certificate;

A genuine passion and enthusiasm for teaching Auslan, staying up-to-date with market trends;

Strong interpersonal skills in the context of relating to staff, students, parents and guardians, support groups and members of the community;

Highly developed communication, planning, decision-making and negotiation skills; and

Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.
