Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator / Detailer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in estimating and detailing timber roof trusses, wall frames, and floor systems. Knowledge of Cornerstone and/or Sapphire software will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quotes for timber roof trusses, wall frames, and flooring systems.
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
- Generate layouts and cutting lists for production.
- Liaise with builders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design requirements and deadlines are met.




- Assist in the design and optimization of timber structural components for cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and industry regulations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members throughout the project cycle.

Skills and Experience

- Prior experience in a timber truss and frame estimating/detailing role is essential.
- Working knowledge of Cornerstone software is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of timber framing, truss construction, and building standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
