Your new role

As an APS6 Finance and Procurement Program Officer, you will provide financial, procurement and contract management support while working closely with executives, managers and project teams.

Key responsibilities include

- Maintaining divisional budget tracking and financial reporting
- Supporting monthly forecasting, accruals and financial management activities
- Assisting with budget development and financial planning processes
- Providing financial advice and insights to senior stakeholders
- Coordinating procurement activities and supporting tender processes
- Preparing and maintaining procurement and contract documentation
- Supporting contract administration and commercial reporting requirements
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to achieve procurement outcomes
- Contributing to governance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with Commonwealth procurement and financial frameworks

What you'll need to succeed

- Must be an Australian citizen with a Baseline security clearance

To be successful in this role,



you will demonstrate:
- Experience in financial administration, budgeting and forecasting
- Knowledge of government procurement and contract management processes
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working with senior leaders and managing competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Sound judgement, problem-solving capability and a proactive approach
- Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently
