Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking an Assistant Head of Department and an exceptional Science Teacher, commencing Term 1, 2027. As the Assistant Head of Department, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Department in the continuous improvement and delivery of the Science curriculum across Years 7-12. This also includes oversight and support of the Higher School Certificate (HSC) Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Science Extension courses as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses.

who demonstrates creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum, and enjoys working in a committed and professional team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Experience teaching Year 7-10 Science
- Experience teaching HSC Science
- Experience teaching IB Science (desirable)
- Confidence integrating ICT effectively into classroom practice
- Skill in differentiating curriculum delivery to meet diverse student needs
- A flexible, collegial, and collaborative approach
