The ideal candidate will be responsible for compliance tasks in the service and work closely with the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader to ensure the service follows best practice in all areas with a personal focus on quality area 2 in particular. The role is structured to allow for extended administrative times for deep focus and to ensure key deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage the medical conditions for the service including documentation and medication
- Support the Nominated Supervisor with enrolments, family meetings, inclusion strategies and children's wellbeing plans
- Audit and update the staff compliance documents for the service
- Complete risk assessments and review as part of incident processes and regular auditing.
- Support the Nominated Supervisor in leading a team of engaged staff within a large service
- Contribute to the self assessment tool
- Actively role model and mentor educators on best practice when working directly with children
- Build strong connections with children, families and stakeholders both within the school and in the wider Gowrie NSW
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Experience in a large service 100+
- Leadership experience within the sector
- Certificate III or above or sector knowledge and understanding which is comparable
- Ability to meet deadlines independently and be task focused
- Skilled conduct
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Child rights approach with a focus on inclusion
