The Associate Adviser (AA) role in QuarterFive is the cornerstone for client relationships and workflow management for clients. This role involves not only managing and nurturing client relationships through proactive communication and personalised service but also coordinating and overseeing all aspects of client service delivery. The AA is tasked with organising client data, preparing for meetings, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.

By integrating strategic planning, risk management and the latest technological advancements, the AA enhances the client's experience and supports their financial goals.

Additionally, the AA works closely and helps coordinate their administrative team, fostering a collaborative setting that drives the firm’s success. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the client's financial affairs, ultimately contributing to the stability and growth of the firm’s client base and its reputation in the industry. The role of an AA also indicates that the individual has commenced and progressed through the Professional Year and is on track to becoming a Financial Adviser.

We work together full-time from our East Melbourne office. We believe emerging advisers develop fastest by sitting alongside experienced colleagues, participating in conversations and learning through the day-to-day work.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications (e.g. MBA, CFP, CFA) are highly regarded.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial services, ideally within wealth management, financial planning or advisory support.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Strong technical knowledge across financial planning, including superannuation, retirement, investments, tax structures, estate planning and broader wealth strategies.
- Sound understanding of investment portfolios, implementation strategies and portfolio review processes.
- Strong compliance and documentation capability, with knowledge of relevant financial services regulations and experience supporting advice preparation, execution and client portfolios.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot) and Microsoft Office, with strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
