We are growing our Building Services team and looking for an experienced Associate Director Electrical Engineer to join our Data Centres practice, based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. You'll lead the electrical project delivery on a portfolio of high-impact data centre projects, bringing both strong technical depth and the leadership presence to take full ownership of complex programmes from concept through to construction.

What is your role?

You'll own the electrical project delivery workstream on major data centre programmes, driving technical outcomes across all project phases from early concept and power feasibility through to construction and commissioning. You'll work closely with clients, hyperscale customers and global infrastructure providers, setting the technical direction and maintaining quality, programme and scope across the projects you lead.





You'll bring the technical depth to resolve complex electrical and HV challenges and the seniority to hold client relationships with confidence. Alongside delivery, you'll contribute to the growth of the data centre practice, supporting business development and playing a visible role in how ADP Consulting positions itself in this market across the eastern seaboard.

About You

- You are an experienced electrical engineer operating at Associate Director level or above, with a proven track record of leading complex data centre projects end-to-end. Your technical depth is your foundation and your ability to hold a project programme, manage client relationships and lead a delivery team is what sets you apart.
- You have significant experience in data centre electrical design, with strong technical depth across HV systems, utility infrastructure, switchgear, UPS, generators and power distribution.
- You are confident leading the full project delivery lifecycle, from early power strategy and concept design through to construction documentation and site coordination.




- You hold client relationships with confidence and are trusted by hyperscale and infrastructure clients to represent technical decisions clearly and credibly.
- You are comfortable contributing to business development and can support the growth of the data centre practice across the eastern seaboard.
- International data centre and infrastructure experience is well regarded and translates strongly into the Australian market.
- You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and are registered (or eligible for registration) as a professional engineer.
