About The Role And Team

We have an opportunity for an experienced Property lawyer with at least 4 years post-admission experience to join our national Property &

- Projects practice, to be based in Melbourne.

Our Property &
- Projects team has over 120 team members nationally working across a diverse practice, including property, projects, environment and planning. With a varied client base across both the public and private sector, our national practice is a leader in real estate for significant property funds, social impact enterprises, institutional clients, utility providers and the public sector.

You will be involved in a broad range of real estate projects for a diverse client base, including:
- Acting nationally on the sale and purchase of major real estate assets (including but not limited to multistorey office towers, shopping centres, industrial assets, developments sites);
- residential and mixed-use developments;




- commercial and retail leasing; and
- renewable energy projects, land assembly and compensation.

About You You will ideally be a technical expert in property law who can apply problem solving and judgement to achieve legally and commercially strong solutions. Ideally, You Will Have The Following Skills And Experience:

- at least 4 years of post-admission experience in property law;
- significant experience across general real estate law matters
- a strong client service ethos;
- excellent technical and drafting skills;
- solid analytical and legal research skills;
- the ability to manage files for a range of real estate transaction and general property matters with minimal supervision, knowing when to seek active partner engagement;
- good ability to delegate to and supervise junior lawyers in the team; and
- a proactive attitude to embracing technology in legal practice.
