Play a key role in supporting medical education in the Southern Highlands.

Working closely with medical students, clinical educators and healthcare partners, you will coordinate student placements across hospitals, general practices, aged care and community health settings. You'll also manage accommodation arrangements, provide administrative support to academic staff, and contribute to the successful delivery and growth of the Doctor of Medicine program in the region.

Key responsibilities:

- Coordinate medical student placements and learning activities across the Southern Highlands.
- Support students, clinical educators and healthcare partners throughout the placement experience
- Manage placement administration, records and reporting
- Coordinate student accommodation and orientation activities
- Provide administrative support to the Doctor of Medicine program

About the Team

The Doctor of Medicine (MD) program is delivered primarily on three campuses located in Wollongong, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands, as well as in numerous rural sites throughout NSW.

Role Details

- Employment type: Continuing Contingent* | Full-time appointment
- Level 5: $85,682 - $96,898 + 17% Superannuation
- Position Description
- Location: Bowral and District Hospital / Moss Vale Campus
- Valid Australian work rights required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Special Job Requirements

- This position requires the incumbent to reside rurally in a Modified Monash Model: (MM2+) region https://www.health.gov.au/topics/rural-health-workforce/classifications/mmm
- This position is not suitable for remote work in accordance with the UOW Remote Working Guidelines
- This position is subject to a National Criminal Check
- As this position will be required to attend Public Health Facilities, the position holder must comply with vaccination requirements as per NSW Health Policy for any work undertaken in NSW Health facilities according to the revised NSW Health Policy PD2023_022




- This position requires the position holder to hold and maintain a valid, current Australian Driver Licence
