Company Description Ivy Psychology is an owner-operated, NDIS-registered provider offering psychological therapy and positive behaviour support to children (over 7 years old), adolescents, and adults. The team works across Current South Wales and Victoria, with additional reach across Australia via telehealth services. Clinicians at Ivy Psychology are dedicated to providing specialised, evidence-informed support tailored to individual needs.

The organisation is committed to empowering people in both local communities and nationally, fostering meaningful change in daily life and wellbeing. Ivy Psychology values collaboration, professionalism, and compassionate care in all client interactions.

Role Description The Behaviour Support Practitioner provides person-centered, evidence-informed positive behaviour support to NDIS participants and their support networks throughout the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Day-to-day tasks include conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing and implementing behaviour support plans, and collaborating with families, support workers, and other allied health professionals to promote quality of life and safe environments. The practitioner will deliver services primarily in the community and clinic settings, including home visits, school or residential visits, and may participate in case conferences and team meetings.

Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation, complying with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, and contributing to service development and best-practice standards.

This is a flexible role with part-time and contractor options within the Eastern Suburbs and surrounds.

Remuneration: We pay well,

and we are upfront about it. Remuneration sits above the sector average and is structured to reward experience, independence and clinical judgement rather than billable hours alone. Senior practitioners who can carry complex work with minimal oversight will be paid accordingly, and we are happy to discuss a package that reflects what you bring.
