About the Role

We are looking for skilled Boilermakers & Coded Welders to join our FIFO team for shutdown works at Murrin Murrin, north of Kalgoorlie.

Specifically:

Shutdown Dates: 11 September - 14 October.

Please note: Shutdown dates may be subject to minor changes.

You will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for our clients while upholding Ahrens' commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

You will:

- Perform FCAW, GTAW and MMAW welding in accordance with approved WPS and client specifications.

- Complete structural fabrication, repairs and installation works.

- Carry out structural steel, piping and maintenance welding activities.

- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometrics and welding procedures.

- Perform shutdown, maintenance and project work across fixed plant equipment.

- Produce high-quality workmanship while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

- Inspect and maintain welding equipment and fabrication tools.

- Work collaboratively with supervisors, mechanical fitters and site crews.

- Comply with all client, company and site safety requirements.

You possess:

- Construction White Card

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Working at Heights ticket

- Working in Confined Spaces ticket

- Australian Recognized Trade Certificate

- Experience working on major construction, energy, resources or infrastructure projects
- A strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork
