South Coast Ultrasound for Women operates private Obstetrics & Gynaecological ultrasound practices in Wollongong and Shellharbour, NSW. As the leading specialist ultrasound practice of its kind in the region, we provide a high-quality diagnostic imaging service to patients within the Illawarra and from the South Coast of NSW.

Our team of specialist doctors and staff are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care to individuals and families in our community, working in conjunction with local specialists, health care groups and services.

About the Role

We operate busy practices and we're looking for highly efficient receptionists to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive team.

This is a casual position across our two practices in Shellharbour and Wollongong, working 1–2 days per week between 7:45am and 5:15pm, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, an outstanding multitasker, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll also need to be flexible with your hours.

Position Requirements

- Proven reception experience in a high-volume medical or imaging practice
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Sound knowledge of Medicare billing systems and codes
- Reliable and punctual
- A passion for people and a personable approach
- A team player
- Excellent presentation and a professional manner
- Available to work shifts between 7:45am–5:15pm, Monday to Friday
- Available to cover sick leave and annual leave as required
- High level of attention to detail
- Multitasking and managing a high volume of patients and phone calls
- Greeting, registering and billing patients
- Typing, scanning, faxing and filing reports
- Liaising with patients, doctors, health professionals and other South Coast Ultrasound for Women staff
- Attractive hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
