Your role

Corpay is looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to join their thriving sales team and focus on generating new business in the FinTech market. This is an exciting opportunity in a corporate sales environment where you will be exposed to the competitive and coveted financial technology sector. You will strategically target new clients via following up internal leads, using your existing network and actively reaching out to new businesses. You will develop a monthly sales plan and manage this plan to achieve assigned targets, and as required address any short falls in the delivery of these plans

What you'll be doing

As a Business Development Associate, you will work from our Melbourne office. Corpay sets you up for success by providing:

Roles Responsibilities

- Drive to achieve monthly targets by identifying and qualifying prospects
- Set appointments with a prospect to conduct either an online discussion or a face‑to‑face meeting with an experienced Corpay National Account Manager
- Follow along the sales process to gain the knowledge and skills required to advance your career
- Continually market those prospects who are not ready to move to Corpay by making periodic calls, sending timely market updates and marketing materials
- Make regular updates to the company CRM system, Salesforce.com
- Source and generate leads for potential new business

Qualifications & Skills

- Excellent selling skills in a B2B environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to use cold calling to generate appointments and exceptional customer relationship development
- Proven ability in closing sales and a high level of customer service
