About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to take ownership of medium to high-risk estimating programs and projects within a building construction and maintenance environment. In this role, you will balance rigorous technical estimation with stakeholder management, compliance, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of medium to high-risk, significant, and complex estimating programs and projects. Produce high-quality estimates and quotation documentation fully compliant with the State Purchasing Policy, Minor Works, local instructions, and contract frameworks.
- Undertake research and development in project planning, budgeting, estimating, programming, delivery processes, and procurement practices to drive efficiency.
- Deliver comprehensive reporting on estimating projects and programs, covering volume, requests, clients, locations, acceptance rates, costs, schedule of rates, margins, and productivity.
- Enhance client relationships through effective communication, sound negotiation, and the timely provision of professional, competitive estimates.
- Maintain a healthy and protected work environment, ensuring compliance with current human resource practices, employment equity, anti-discrimination,



and WHS principles while proactively managing staff performance and conduct.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in compiling and project managing complex estimating projects within a building construction and maintenance environment.
- Thorough working knowledge of building construction and maintenance legislative and regulatory requirements, principles, practices, and contract procedures.
- Experience with Cost X, Ellipse, E-tender, Q-tender, Iris, and Quote tracking systems (highly desirable)
- Current valid Driver’s Licence.
