About the role

This is not a traditional retail position. You will be the day to day face of Fusion Foodz and help grow the business. You'll be based at the Fusion Foodz location Monday to Friday, working closely with the management team, kitchen/production team and marketing team to help drive sales, develop current ideas, understand customers and build the Fusion Foodz brand.

Key responsibilities

- Be the face of Fusion Foodz and provide an outstanding customer experience

- Actively sell products and identify opportunities to increase sales

- Build relationships with regular customers and local businesses

- Identify potential wholesale and business customers

- Follow up leads and sales opportunities

- Develop promotions, bundles and sales initiatives

- Monitor sales performance and look for ways to improve it

- Become an expert on Fusion Foodz and our products

- Work closely with the marketing team and provide ideas for social media and content

- Ensure the shop is presented professionally every day

- Passionate about food and genuinely interested in the products we sell

- Comfortable using social media and digital tools

- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- A self-starter who doesn't need to be told what to do every five minutes

- Comfortable picking up the phone and talking to potential customers

- Interested in understanding how a business works
