Role Description The Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) will support the analysis and improvement of business processes and digital solutions for clients. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility to work both onsite and from home. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing data and workflows, preparing reports and process maps, and assisting in the design of system enhancements.

The role also involves collaborating with senior analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to clarify needs, support testing activities, and ensure solutions align with business objectives. The position offers opportunities to learn structured business analysis methods and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Foundational knowledge of business analysis,



including requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
- Understanding of business processes and workflows, with interest in mapping, documenting, and improving them.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written documentation and professional verbal interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
- Comfort with using productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, issue tracking or project tools).
- Attention to detail, ability to organize tasks, and willingness to learn in a rapid-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Experience or internships in a business or technology setting are advantageous but not mandatory.
