This is a market-facing role with a solid focus on winning new business, developing relationships and getting involved in commercial projects from an early stage.

The opportunity is to grow the business across a range of commercial sectors including corporate offices, retail, hospitality, education, healthcare, aged care, government and large-scale fit-outs.

The Role

- Develop new business across key commercial sectors

- Build relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, developers and end clients

- Identify upcoming projects and get involved early in the specification process

- Target corporate, retail, hospitality, education, healthcare, aged care and government projects

- Manage your own pipeline and sales activity

- Follow opportunities from initial contact through to project completion

- Build on existing relationships while actively creating new ones

- Work closely with the internal team across pricing, specifications and project delivery

About you

We’re looking for an experienced BDM who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships and finding new opportunities.

Your background could be in commercial flooring, carpet, tiles, wall coverings, furniture, architectural products, interiors, building products or another specification-led construction product.

You’ll ideally have an existing network across architects, designers, builders,



contractors or developers and understand how commercial projects are won. You should be comfortable identifying opportunities early, developing relationships over time and ultimately converting those relationships into projects.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and hungry to win business. You’ll need to be comfortable managing your own pipeline, opening new doors and having conversations with people at all levels of a project.
