About The Role
As a Business Development Support Coordinator, you'll provide administrative and coordination support to our national Business Development Team, helping keep our client partnerships running smoothly. You'll work closely with our Client Managers and BD Coordinators to manage the administration of newly signed agreements, keep our systems and records up to date, follow up on actions and requests and support our clients throughout their partnership with Engineers Australia. This is not a traditional sales role.
It's an opportunity for someone who enjoys being organised and working with people while also looking to build their skills in business development and account management. You may currently be working in an administration, coordination, customer service or support role and are ready for your next challenge. You'll join a collaborative national team and gain experience across client relationships, account management, project coordination and CRM systems.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity.
Location
This role can be in based in any of our offices across Australia with a preference for east coast.
In This Role You Will
- Coordinate and administer engineering credential and workforce partnership projects, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder support.
- Provide project and administrative support to the Business Growth Team, National Manager, Business Development Partners, and Coordinators.
- Maintain accurate customer records and interactions in MyPortal, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Support customer enquiries and applications by applying knowledge of Engineers Australia's membership and credential services.
- Identify process improvements, conduct market research, generate sales opportunities, and follow up on membership and credential leads to support business targets.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in administration or account management within a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving KPIs and business objectives.
- Strong customer focus with a positive attitude and a passion for business growth and success.
- Highly organised with excellent time management, attention to detail, and accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a qualified phone manner and strong email etiquette.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
