We are seeking to establish a pool of Business Support Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2028. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated applicants to provide high quality administrative and customer focused support services within a dynamic and fast paced school environment. We currently have a range of opportunities across specialised administrative functions, including;
- Marketing and Communications
- Human Resources and Relief Coordination
- Curriculum Support
- Finance
Suitable applicants will play a key role in supporting the day to day operations of the school by delivering productive and professional business support services. They should be adaptable, proactive, and customer focused with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Suitable applicants should display strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Knowledge of policies, procedures and legislation relevant to school and business operations, along with experience using Department of Education systems including SIS, RM Finance, RM Billing, HRMIS and Compass,
would be highly regarded. Previous experience in a school-based administrative or business support role is also desirable.

Eligibility To work with us, you must:

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

- Demonstrated well developed financial management skills, including data analysis, interpretation and reporting, and the ability to provide recommendations.
- Demonstrated sound human resource management knowledge and skills, including the ability to provide effective support and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of human resource management systems and processes.
- Demonstrated sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to identify appropriate solutions.
