Fast Labour Hire is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis in Melbourne. This is an prospect for a qualified carpenter with strong construction experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, can work independently and efficiently, and is committed to maintaining safe work practices.
Key responsibilities
- Erect general framework, subflooring and roof framing
- Set out house frames and complete site set outs
- Complete material take-offs as required
- Repair existing timber structures and framework
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with the agreed scope of work
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all projects
- Follow company systems, processes, safety requirements and site procedures
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and manage a high-volume workload
About you
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Current White Card
- Experience across all aspects of carpentry
- A proven background working on construction projects
- Your own tools
- A current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
- Strong technical knowledge of carpentry and construction
- A strong understanding of OHS/WHS responsibilities and safe work practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
