About the role

MCC Group Pty Ltd are recruiting for experienced and skilled Carpenters to join our team. This is a full-time position that will require travel to service various sites within Central Qld. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality carpentry and construction work across various projects.

What you'll be doing

- Measuring, marking and cutting timber and other materials to precise specifications

- Assembling and installing timber frameworks, doors, windows, cabinetry and other structural components

- Using hand tools and power tools safely and competently to complete carpentry tasks

- Preparing surfaces and finishing carpentry work to a skilled standard

- Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to ensure seamless project coordination

- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations





What we're looking for

- Relevant trade qualification or certification

- Previous experience in a similar role working in a civil construction or mining work industry

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering work that meets quality standards

- Physical capability to perform manual labour, lift heavy materials and work at heights where required

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to varying project requirements

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- A valid driver's licence

- Coal Board Medical (highly regarded)

- Standard 11 (highly regarded)
