Based in Bridgewater, we build everything from compact backyard studios through to family homes and custom modular projects, providing a smarter, faster and more flexible alternative to traditional construction.
As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Carpenter to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time Carpenter position primarily based at our Bridgewater facility, working as part of a collaborative team constructing high-quality modular homes and units.
The role incorporates both structural and finishing carpentry, giving you the opportunity to be involved across multiple stages of the construction process.
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Structural and finish carpentry on modular homes and units
- Reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings and specifications
- Measuring, cutting and assembling framing and structural components
- Installing doors, trims, cabinetry, fixtures and fittings
- Carrying out construction, assembly and alteration of buildings, structures and joinery
- Safely operating hand and power tools appropriate to your training and experience
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, carpenters and other trades
- Ensuring workmanship meets required quality and building standards
- Following WHS requirements, safe work procedures and site requirements at all times
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Supporting the team to achieve project deadlines and efficient delivery
About You We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and can contribute positively to a team environment.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Residential construction experience
- Strong framing and general carpentry skills
- Experience in finish carpentry
- Confidence using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation
- Sound understanding of construction materials and terminology
- Knowledge of Australian building standards and construction practices
- Strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, organisation and the ability to work independently when required
- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake the manual requirements of the role
- White Card
- Current driver's licence – manual preferred but not essential
- Experience in modular or off-site construction would be advantageous; however, it is not essential.
