We are seeking a Qualified Cabinet Maker to join a busy main factory and warehouse in Alexandria. This is a 6-month contract with a strong view to permanent employment for the right person.

You will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling quality cabinetry and joinery while working as part of an experienced production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture and assemble cabinets and joinery to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Measure, cut and prepare timber, MDF, laminate and other materials
- Operate woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools
- Assemble cabinetry, doors, panels, shelving and components
- Install hinges, handles, runners and other hardware
- Complete quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Identify and rectify defects or production issues
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Prepare completed cabinetry for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organised factory environment




- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider production team
- Meet production deadlines without compromising quality
- Assist with general factory and warehouse duties as required

About You

- Qualified Cabinet Maker with a recognised trade qualification
- Proven experience in cabinet making and joinery
- Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and assembly
- Confident operating woodworking machinery and power tools
- Able to accurately read drawings and take measurements
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and meet production deadlines
- Comfortable working in a busy factory workplace
