Herstellen Clinic is an established and privately-owned specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Medical Aesthetic Clinic based in Spring Hill, Brisbane. We are seeking a polished and proactive Registered Practice Nurse to join our team. This is a key role, assisting our Principle Surgeon and wider nursing team to deliver seamless patient care and experiences.
This position is suited to someone who genuinely cares for and enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment and has the ability to juggle multiple tasks, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and 5 star customer service.
We are seeking an individual with 2+ years Hospital experience to join our team (Additional Practice Nursing experience is desired) on a Part-time basis of 20 - 30 hours per week. Hours worked will be between standard 8:30am - 4:30pm/ 5:00pm. Days of work are specifically a mix of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + Saturday hours. Working across 2x locations at our Spring Hill Clinic and at The Wesley Consulting Suites when required.
Our growing team consists of our Director and industry leading Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Justin Perron, Visiting Specialist Dr Scott Turner, Clinic Manager, Patient Care Coordinator, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 Dermal Therapist's, 2 Medical Concierge, Marketing Coordinator, 2 Cosmetic Injector's, Lymphoedema Practitioners & Massage Therapists!
Working collaboratively with our entire team, this staff member will be responsible for an array of tasks:
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to cosmetic and plastic surgery patients across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative stages
- Conduct patient assessments, observations, wound care, and clinical documentation in accordance with practice standards and protocols
- Assist surgeons and proceduralists during cosmetic and minor surgical procedures
- Collaborate with reception and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Liaise with multidisciplinary team for post-procedural planning
- Support patient consultations and coordinate treatment plans with surgeons and the clinical team
- Maintain infection control, sterilisation, and workplace health and safety standards at all times
What are we looking for?
- 2+ years of previous hospital experience: Pay rate will reflect experience.
- Unrestricted current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new software packages.
