SunRise Kids Early Education and Care is seeking inspired and experienced Casual Educators to join our teams across Brisbane and Ipswich. As a Casual Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our centres. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work within a supportive and nurturing environment.
What you'll be doing
- Providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children of all ages
- Implementing engaging educational activities that support the children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
- Fostering positive relationships with children, families and the broader community
- Ensuring all children's needs are met, including their health, safety and wellbeing
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- Certificate 3 / Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards
- Experience working in a similar role within the Early Years Learning Sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the children and the centre
- A current First Aid certificate, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management or willing to obtain these.
- A valid Paid Blue Card
- Flexibility in hours and days, Centres are open from 6am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday
